In October (2021), an interesting and participative session with the French teaching team from Bourges took place in Soverato (Calabria).
The meeting was opened by Ylenia Azzaro (JUMP Team) who introduced the welcome guests by leading them to the discovery of the Calabrian territory, its culinary traditions and the linguistic connections between the local dialect and the ancient languages – Greek and Latin (Cultural Heritage).
During the second part of the session, Tirinato Francesco (JUMP Team) explained to the French team the M.o.t.h.e.r. project (funded by Erasmus +) of which Jump is Team Leader .
There was a detailed explanation of the origin of the M.o.t.h.e.r. project, the main objectives, strategies and tools implemented to achieve the expected results. But there was also a more general discussion about the paths and concrete possibilities provided by European projects.
Considering that one of the objectives of every Erasmus Plus project is always to extend the network, promote and disseminate, we tried to take advantage of the opportunity by involving professionals who deal with the world of youth on a daily basis.
We received interesting external feedback, which obviously represents a further stimulus to reach our young workers (the main target of the project) by making both the official website and the M.o.t.h.e.r. e-learning platform is even more accessible and effective.
We are aware that this is a good way to find more support outside the established official partnership channels, given the sincere enthusiasm of the group of teachers and their clear will to spread and eventually use the information and results of the M.o.t.h.e.r. project in their institutions as well as in their working environments.
