On Thursday 11 August, the Municipality of Lousada organised an open event for youth to share the latest news about the M.O.T.H.E.R. project.
The event was organised in the Lousada Municipality Hall and counted with the support from the project manager, and the Lousada’s town councillor Maria do Céu Rocha and staff from the department of Social Action, Youth, Tourism and Economic Activities. The Lousada’s town councillor opened the event, introducing the project aims and its association with the Municipality purposes in terms of youth entrepreneurship.
The event continued with a presentation given by the project manager, detailing the objectives, the target group and the results achieved in the M.O.T.H.E.R. project. The audience composed by youth inhabitants from Lousada, was willing to know more and interested in visiting the M.O.T.H.E.R. eLearning platform.
After a moment of open debate, the event continued sharing other opportunities promoted by the European Commission for Youth, such as the European Solidarity Corps.
The end of the event was marked by the delivery of the certificates of attendance to this event, and a moment of networking among the participants and the Lousada’s town team to discuss future opportunities for the town and for Youth.
