How can we Create a Better Future for the Next Generation: Meet NextGenerationEU

In the framework formed by COVID-19, NextGenerationEU was created, as a Europe’s initiative
to profess the significance of youth for a sustainable future. In particular, it is an EU investment
on Europe’s post-COVID economic and social course of today’s circumstances and the ones to
come.

In particular, there is the Recovery and Resilience Facility developed to support EU Member
States’ plans. Namely, plans of reform and investment to smooth out the COVID-19 impact on
the social and economic context of Europe. Furthermore, it foresees support for preparations
pertinent to green and digital transformation.

Moreover, there is Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe (REACT-EU)
that functions as a NextGenerationEU extension to the crisis operation. The REACT-EU
components are divided to funds of the Coronavirus Response Investment Initiative and the
Coronavirus Response Investment Initiative Plus.
In particular, they will be available through:

-European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
-European Social Fund (ESF).
-European Fund for Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD).

Other NextGenerationEU additions are: Horizon2020; InvestEU; funds pertinent to rural
development and Just Transition Fund (JTF).

The profile of potential NextGenerationEU beneficiaries is open to anyone.

In the question of how can we create a better future for the next generation, the answer is
Europe’s opportunities provision. In fact, deploying EU funding instruments can be the basis of
a sustainable future to unfold, with redefined priorities that allows next generation to prosper.

“M.O.T.H.E.R.: Mobility, Opportunity, Training for a Higher Employment Rate” is an initiative
attempting to explore youth employability possibilities, materialized with the support of
