Today we present to all interested the course on Social Innovation realised by the Portuguese partner (Municipality of Lousada) and supervised by trainer Catarina Neto.
Social innovation is the ability to develop ideas to address emerging social problems or needs through new solutions and models, without having profit as the primary objective.
It is therefore closely linked to a careful analysis of the context and stakeholders and the best use of available assets.
At the same time, it is strongly intertwined with the topic of social enterprises (addressed in course number 5 on our platform), in particular with the social cooperative sector, as they are committed to maximising human and environmental well-being.
This course (available for free on our e-learning platform) will provide interested young people with useful knowledge and skills to learn and/or reinforce knowledge, skills and competences on social innovation.
It will encourage the future social innovators to apply new ideas and practical solutions in various social contexts in an attempt to generate relevant and long-term changes within a community.
We invite you to visit our E-learning platform and register for this course offered free of charge thanks to the Erasmus+ funded M.O.T.H.E.R. project.
