More than having great ideas for business, what if those ideas suit your community needs?
That’s what Social Innovation aims for: “developing new ideas, services and models to better address social issues. It invites input from public and private actors, including civil society, to improve social services” (in https://ec.europa.eu/social/).
It is about knowing what you like and want to work on, putting that in the service of your community, supporting them in their daily life. The profit you make is a meaningful profit and the result from a job that you create yourself to answer your community needs or even the global community needs. Look around you and ask yourself what you have to offer and what your community gains from that; and more important – implement your idea!
